Fashion Designer – The Role
As a Women’s Fashion Designer you will be responsible for designing a new range of trend inspired multi-product jersey and formal for various high street customers. Conduct market and trend research, through blogs etc. and prepare exciting mood and range boards for customers…must be a real trend spotter. This position is customer facing and will need someone that is comfortable working within a team to ensure fantastic product and service.
Fashion Designer – The Person
Will have specialised in trend led womens clothing, ideally jerseywear. You will need to be creative, with the ability to turn designs around fast. Used to working in a fast paced design environment and taking responsibility. Sound knowledge of garment construction and ability to put specs together. Confident CAD skills on Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience in liaising with manufacturers. Highly organised, on the ball and driven by processes. Candidates who want to work from home are welcome to apply, you will however be required to go the office based in Leicester 1 day a week.

My client is an established manufacturer of ladies and childrens fashion jersey, supplying to the UK High Street.
